Many Americans are in Out-Rage over the Bonuses that are being announced or exposed for Bank Executives. This is only part of the problem, not only are the people that put our country in jeopardy getting huge bonuses for horrible results, and in my opinion, they are being paid for stealing from us. However the Bonuses are just part of the problem, what about the salaries and perks they get before you even consider the bonuses. If the Media and Politicians actually looked at what upper Management & Executives are making including Salary, Bonuses, Expense accounts, etc, they would realize most of the Problems with Stability and related Layoffs we have had in the Financial Banking Industry, along with just about every other Industry would have been dramatically lower, if needed at all. I wonder how the industry would look if the upper Management & Executives just took dramatic pay cuts or didn't receive bonuses.   more »

This is a subject that really gets me excited. I think the Politicians and Media don't have a clue. In this case I blame it mostly on the Media. Our unemployment rate is so much higher than what most Media outlets would ever report to the public. Basically I feel this is partly due to the fact that they are out of touch, and the fact that there are NOT a lot of real journalist that are willing to challenge the establishment. I have listened about how much Job Growth we've had over the last few years, and always thought what in the world are they talking about. I am sure most people would remember many politicians saying the fundamentals of the economy is very good, or we have been experiencing strong growth. Neither of these have been true for at least 6 years.   more »
